As a patient, it is important that you know and understand the active role that you must take in your healthcare. In order to receive the best care possible, it is important to do the following:
- Fill out the correct paperwork for insurance billing
- Bring a detailed list of any medications that you are currently taking
- Be as detailed as possible about any past and current health issues
- Bring any X-rays, test results, or medical records with you
